By description - wind, solar and geothermal energies are produced
by wind, sun and water.
Energy production from biomass (cogeneration) comes from a
variety of sources:
- Construction debris
- Chipped tree trimmings
- Agricultural residual (peach pits, walnut & pistachio shells, grape pomace)
- Wood pallets
- Green (wood) waste
Producing energy from these fuel sources prevents the waste of otherwise
useless products, an added benefit of biomass production.
