Project began in September 1988 and was completed in December
1989.

Auberry Energy
Description: 7.5-MWe wood waste-fired cogeneration
plant. Utilizes sawmill generated wood waste and agricultural/forest
residues
to produce steam for sawmill dry kiln operation and electricity
which is sold to PG&E.
Facts: Located adjacent to Sequoia Forest Industries sawmill
in Auberry, California. Project began in May 1985 and was completed
in December 1985
Scope of work: Power purchase agreement
acquisition, design, construction, start-up, operations and maintenance.
Drayton Valley
Description: Disassembled, refurbished, relocated and
reassembled an 11-MWe wood waste-fired cogeneration plant. Utilizes
sawmill
generated wood waste and forest residues to produce electrical
energy which is sold to Trans Alto Utilities.
Facts: Located adjacent to Weyerhaeuser Canada sawmill, Drayton
Valley, Alberta Canada. Project began in July 1995 and was completed
in May 1996.
Scope of work: Design, construction,
start-up, operations and maintenance.
Dinuba Energy
Description: 11.5-MWe wood waste-fired cogeneration
plant. Utilizes sawmill generated wood waste and agricultural/forest
residues
to produce steam for sawmill dry kiln operation and electricity
which is sold to PG&E.
Facts: Located adjacent to Sequoia Forest Industries sawmill
in Dinuba, California. Project began in December 1984 and was
completed in October 1985.
Scope of work: Power purchase agreement acquisition, project
permitting, design, construction, start-up, operations and maintenance.
Tamarack Energy
Description: 5-MWe wood-fired cogeneration plant fueled
by sawmill wood waste. Produces steam for the sawmill dry kilns
and electricity
which is sold to Idaho Power.
Facts: Located adjacent to Evergreen Forest Products sawmill
in Tamarack, Idaho. Project began in May 1982 and completed in
March 1983.
Scope of work: Sales agreement acquisition permitting, project
permitting, design, construction, start-up operations and maintenance.
